Water intake.

Opinions on amount of water intake per day? Some say you don't need as much as we think, maybe less than a gallon. I've always drank over that.
 
The more you eat, the more you should drink. The more supps you take, the more you should drink. The closer to a show you get, the more you drink.
that adds up to a bucket load of water.
(6-8 ltrs a day)
 
Hmm

Like most of you I have a job and goto school so drinking amazing amounts of water is hard, and takes some planning. I usally drink as much as I can , but I have alittle schedule. Upon waking I have 2 glasses, then I have one with each meal, and 2 bottles of water during my workout. Lots of peeing but keeps the pee clear, and wether or not it doesnt anything it seems to be healthy.
 
Here's my reasoning for drinking LOTS of water (please tell me if you think I'm incorrect). We take in LOTS of protein which can really tax your kidneys. Keeping you body flushed with water - 1 gallon (minimum amount I drink) helps keep kidneys working properly.

Also helps keep your skin moist and pours flushed. Water is to the body like anti-freeze is to a car. You should be able to down a gallon/day without even thinking about it. Your body should be demanding a gallon/day or more.

Are you serious about the kool aide bro? Is it because of the sugar?

Crystal Light seems to do the trick for me but there isn't any sugars in it.

Lights says that is causes cancer in lab animals. no thanks, I bet it has aspartame or what ever it is. That can cause many problems. I think that water is important, but it should be the right amount. Thread on A's board about too much water being unpoductive even harmful.
