I posted this meal in another thread...but I like it so much I thought I'd make it's own thread for it. Hope you like....
Want a weight gain shake? Get factory egg white powder.. it's like $7 a POUND! 1/3 cup 25gm protein...add a bagel (egg bagel that is). You just got your weight gainer at a cheaper price.
2/3 cup egg white powder: 48g protien 0 Fat 240 cals
1 egg bagel: 8g protein 1g fat 42g Carbs (5g from sugar) 210 Cals
Total = 350 Cals 56g protein
3 of these a day = 1050 Cals 144g protein
Note: Add two cups of ZERO fat 'Lactaid' milk instead of water (remember we don't combine fat and carbs in same meal), and you have:
160 more cals per and 16g more protein equaling: 510 cals & 58g protein per serving for a grand total of:
1530 cals .... 192g protein per day! and only 3g of fat OMG!
There's 1/3-1/2 (depending on desired diet goals), of your daily intake where as the rest would come from whole meals! Another good thing about this is: Just one egg bagel and the shake won't fill you up... you'll be hungry again in a couple hours.
