How do you like it?

It’s the only one I’ve ever owned or tried for context - but having said that it’s comfortable and the weights are adjustable so 10/10 in my book.

You like ferro? I have never used it and recently a lot of buddies got them on sale as personal backups..they haven’t come in yet so I haven’t seen them

Quite literally just for their FCPC in yesterday. Absolutely love it but with a few caveats. It fills the void between reduced signature and straight overt/assaulter set up pretty well

Any level of customization requires additional purchase.
The pouch suite doesn’t make any sense - no internal dividers, no thought out retention, bungee etc, their set up for PTT is frankly idiotic for anyone having to run multiple radios. Depending on the facility I’m teaching at I have to carry three comm devices not including my phone, no admin pouches for the most part that are useful which annoys the fuck out of me. I need my chapstick, snacks, sharpies and keys fucking organized. I go to pull one out and it’s this bukkake of shit on the ground.

I will say though the cummerbund system is the best I’ve come across in the market.


Ferro vs my usual JPC set up. Ferro doesn’t have electronics installed in it yet. Had to order their routing kits etc

Other favorite rigs

Multicam black is the LBX - I like it way more than the LBT 6094. Cumberbund is fucking useless though, have to order a ferro system for it. AMAZING admin suite.

Perroz design for minimalistic the fabric weighs less than half a pound in totality with plates I’m under 4 pounds. It manages to keep everything beyond close to my body too which I love.

S&S plate frame 3.0 NOT the 2.0, unsure if these are available yet but the cumberbund has an amazing ability to actually move with your diaphragmatic breathing when diving. The 2.0 moved a little bit but the modification is pretty huge. Draeger just released an upgraded LAR8000 rig that essentially snaps on making for a super comfortable set up. Gone are the days of running some surplus mark25 and it just being an absolute shit show. S&S products are beyond a shit show to set up though , like straight fucking stupid
