Went to the doctor today and...

A couple weeks ago I had found a lump in my left deltoid about the size of a marble....I went to the doctor today and he told me it was a subacious(sp?) cyst and I should probably have it removed. Has anyone had this type of surgery before? Any input would help....Thanks in advance.

I never have but I'll bump this up for more info. Hopefully someone will have some advice for you.

I had one on my back when I was younger. Not a big deal, had it removed and it never bothered me again. Just make sure they do a good job of stitching you up! You probably won't require a whole lot of stitches, but I still have a scar b/c he was sloppy.
