im not sure if it was that show but i know he did some show and then hes gonna do the az .
 
yes guys i did the show. the az is my main focus and i will be there in full form. i just got off cardio and i had no cheat meal after the show. im not gonna go into my placing as i dont care about hearing a bunch of criticism right now, i just want the az open. check pics on www.graphicmuscle.com if you would like to see. i was lightheavy, 188lbs im not sure if the pics are up yet as the show was less than 24 hours ago

Please take my comments as constructive criticism as you can come into a contest much better than me.

Phil's comments were far from derogatory - you must still be low on carbs and high on test :)

I REALLY don't understand how anyone can go into a contest without giving 100% of themselves?!?! What is the expectation - nobody else will show up in shape and you'll win by default? Most guys I know that compete will back out if they're not 100%.

It would seem that if you're gonna do what it takes to get contest ready, you'd want to hit every contest you enter at 100% - not; "well this contest is just a primer."

thanks vander. yes i proposed. im very happy and ready to continue living a nice life. the pics are of the night show. id really like to see the prejudjing pics when they finally get up. this show i didnt drop all water or salt. i wanted to stay fuller and just see what happened. i will tighten things up and i know comming into the az exactly how im gonna do it by how i practiced on the carb up timing and such. ill see you on the 10th bud
 
From the pics

It is fat you need to lose, not water. Drop about 7 more pounds of fat which takes weeks or months to do. That will bring you in at top of middles and leaner. Believing that it is water or salt will just stop you from getting lean because in reality, you wont change much next show unless you drop your carbs completely.

I'm glad that you're reinforcing this Phil.

I was talking with the class winner at my last contest. He was EXTREMELY ripped and only competes when he can get into that condition. I asked him about shedding water. He said that it's almost always an issue of fat (didn't lose enough), not water - people just put the blame on water.

you can do a lot in a few weeks. i have seen a guy compete at 226 and then 2 weeks later weighed in at 214 ripped. he then went on to place 6th as a heavy at jr nationals
