I know we have a TON of guys/gals getting ready for shows and doing cardio so I was interested in seeing what everyone listened to.

I know we have a handful of people that love hard trance, progressive, electro, etc. which is what I listen to so here is what I recently have picked up that has helped me a TON grind through my cardio sessions

Cream Ibiza- Paul Van Dyk
Disc 2 is one of his finest sets in a awhile reminicient of his Politics of Dancing series and has that old school relentless beat while also sounding current....Its awesome!!

Tiesto- In Search of Sunrise 7 Asia
Again the second disc in this series is awesome and is old school tiesto...highly recomend it...

So what do you guys listen to?? What gets you pumped and focused to do cardio??

Its something that husky people like myslef do to get into shape and give you more blisters on your feet than you can count...:D :star-wars

Bulldog! In Search of Sunrise 7 is GREAT! All of the Sunrise compilations are great. Good choice of tunes for cardio.

I don't even hear what's playing in the headphones anymore because I'm too busy praying to God to give me the strength not to jump out the window by the treadmill.

Which is strange because it's in the basement.

Seriously, I start off with Rocky III training montage... always gets me going

and there's this other probably gay song that goes Right on time or Ride on Time

(the whole gotta get up, gotta get up... gotta get up, gotta get up"

But in the AM, I really like The Cure or Depeche Mode for some reason.

Can't go wrong with the cure or Depech mode....

Yeah Osj! That whole series from him is awesome and must have for your dance music collection...

At 4:45 when I do my cardio I'm 1/2 asleep anyways, so it takes me 30 minutes to realize i'm even doing it!!!!

Franco,

You'll probably give me crap for this...But I read on the treadmill...right now im reading Behind the Shawdows the Barry Bonds and Balco deal...Very interesting book on how the world of sports are actully ran...Otherwise, I will read the newest BB mags...I read them all cover to cover...When you do 2 plus hours of cardio you can do alot of reading...LOL !!!

reading? guess you guys cardio intense aint that high! lol, I usally just watch some older action movies, like some van dam movies. (kickboxer, bloodsport, etc.)

I hook up my portable DVD player and headphones, put in a good action DVD and boom, cardio is over.

Female perspective

Punk, a lil bit of rap, an energy drink, Nora Roberts books (read almost all of them during contest prep this Spring), and watching cute boys lift heavy weights.

nothing really helps me i pretty much just hate it all
