Always wondered what everyone considers their off season time? Let me know.

the time of the year where you eat to gain muscles without being afraid of gaining a bit fat

LOL - I know that Mike. I was just curious which months most consider off season for them.

Ahh I thinik I know what you mean... :)

I used to think Offseason referred to a specific time of year that all competitors / lifters eat like pigs and bulk up and then cut down during the summer. But I've learned (though speaking with Aliens from the planet CREPZZZOTNORCULIC) that the Offseason is the time when you're not dieting or preparing for a show. When your prep starts, your offseason ends. So pretty much whenever you're not prepping for a show and taking a break, that's you're offseason.

I hear ya BBB. Kinda figured that but was just curious if we could start to see some consistency with everyone's offseason time. Maybe I should have asked in a different way to get the result I was looking for. :D

Oct - March. 6 months to get bloated and fat.

April - Sept. 6 months to diet and be presentable.

the last two years i havent gotten nearly as fat and gained just as well as when i let myself go. i dont think i'll let myself get above 12-15/% BF. i used to go up to damn near 20% i think as a BBer, i'm supposed to look like one all year round.

only difference is, i'm not eating nearly as much junk. calories are still high(er) but its all quality. i even forget to have my cheat day for a few weeks in a row.

Thanks for the feedback Larry!
