I'm having a little bit of a hard time bringing up my rear delts I think they are out or proportion with my side and front delts. I neglected working shoulders for years due to constant injurys and pain and only the last year have I actualy had a workout that I did somthing to hit my shoulders directly and thats side lateral raises. My front delts and side delts look good in relation to everything lese but I feel the rear is lagging.

I've been doing bent over rear lateral raises but it seems that the rest of my shoulder fatigues before the rear delt does.

Anybody have any suggestions on a new movment I can try to directly hit this muscle?

you could try a bent over row holding the plates, not the bar. i believe it is a dante created exercise that is supposed to target the rear delts nicely.

I thought about somthing like that , sort of a realy wide bent over shrug?

Honestly

You cannot take someones advice here............you must try various movementas and FEEL it there......we are all built differently......go with big movers where you FEEL it there.............for me its pull ups

Heavy rows have helped me build up my rear delts although I agree with Phil. Try different exercises that work your rear delt and see which ones work for you.

phil hit the nail on the head with is answer, for me its reverse pec dec. Thats what has done the most for my rear delts.

Bingooo.

Exactly mikeyt. I used to use the reverse pec dec, but I could never get the contraction I wanted. I started using dumbbells and that's been my savior. I bend and it's basically the same movement as on the pec dec.

I have to agree with Mikeyt...the reverse pec dec has been good for me, I also have some injuries and need to do different movements/exercises...and this is one that "for me" allows some power and gains without hurting or causing more damage...jmo

Try sitting sideways on the reverse fly machine. I did this 1 arm at a time with some stretching at the end of my back day and brought them up quick.
