I assume you're joking... NOBODY should be punished for steroids. To have the same punishment for juice as for heroin, meth, etc is absolutely ludicrous!! I can't even conceive how reasonably intelligent lawmaker could look at a propisition like that and laugh - much less pass it into law.

Im not sure if you guys saw this or not but it seems that the guy must have been a felon or had priors for something. They busted him for a slew of things it just so happens that that was probably the "red flag" that may have lead them to look at something twice, i.e. his package comming from Mexico. That in itself is funny as hell. Why in the world would someone on probation knowingly get a package from Mexico of all places and think everything would be just fine. Not to mention he accepted the pack and THEN got busted. Sounds like the guy was just a dumbass...pure and simple. I know one damn thing Pro. baseball gave steroids a black eye and is
the cause of a lot of this bullshit. I can see maybe football players on
but to be a good batter you need to have good hand and eye cordinat ion
and talent. where do steroids come in on this. I guess they wanted to

Good point.. i am going to try to explain a thought.. lets say your a guy who hits the ball 130 times a year and 20 are homers and 20 are 10 feet short of the wall and 20 are 20 feet short of the wall.. you get on the juice and suddenly you hit 20 more out of the park making you a 40 homer guy with those other 20 being RBI's.. your not really a better player but you are ... you are a stronger faster more dangerous player who can hit and perhaps steal a few extra bases as well...

i truly feel Reggie Jackson was doped up waaay back in the day i like Reggie he was good to his fans and teh sport ..

I'll agree with that, but knowing the league has a testing program
why would you put your career and 8 mill. on the line for that exra
edge anyway. I played baseball in high school and man if had made
it to the pros. the last thing on my mind would be to take that chance
and screw it up.

P.S. I thinK your dead on about good ol Reg. too by the way.
