Do you know where all the guys are that posted pictures here 2 weeks after their show to say how they are leaner NOW and 30 pounds heavier NOW? The anabolic rebound take advantage of guys.........see pictures of them lately in posing trunks? No.........why? Because its nonsense.........they are all fat now. Don't be fooled by this unrealistic concept.......its just not true.
 
I be careful of putting on massive amounts of weight after a show anyways. I had a good friend in the 80's die on a massive heart attack after a show at 26.
 
Even if your a natural bodybuilder and after a show you go mad with food your just pilling on the water. I was 190lbs for my first show and went up too 205lbs within 2 weeks after.

I hope I don't do the same thing again next time round, but the temptation to eat all the food you've been craving for the past 15 weeks is quite hard to ignore.
 
Yes I believe the post show rebound is a little over rated, I mean yeah you fill out your glycogen deposits, hold some water, gain a little muscle and fat but you are by no means putting on 30lbs of muscle! I made this mistake last year and my offseason conditioning suffered, not letting that happen this year, keep insulin sensitivity high and weight under control, no need to be a bloated mess just because its the offseason.

Yes the cravings are insane! Staying lean in the offseason is great but much easier said than done, when your body is constantly fighting to get to a comfortable level of bf it can be quite the task at I know it is for me anyways
