I was a competitive long distance runner in my early 20s I still got it tho. Whenever I need to fix my lipids I’ll run hard for 2 months. Lately I’ve been doing steps only 20k a day mainly at work.

Proper sprint mechanics often times require an outside observer. Our “natural” sprint form is so ingrained it’s hard to correct off of a video and then watch yourself. It’s a helluva training modality though.I've been doing hour walks every morning at 5am. Love it
I would like to start jogging and even learn to properly sprint in the near future
I barely have the mechanics to walk brother. I'm gonna need alot of work lolProper sprint mechanics often times require an outside observer. Our “natural” sprint form is so ingrained it’s hard to correct off of a video and then watch yourself. It’s a helluva training modality though.

well there ya go. At least you know what you’re in for!
Love no way. It it didn't burn calories or have a health benefit i would not do it. Things i love i do just because i like it. Hence the reason i never loved my job. As if they didn't pay me i would not show up. Now lifting is something else. I have gone long periods of time without making any gains but still kept lifting because i love to lift.
I tried sprints for HIIT years ago, first interval tweaked my meniscus lol. If I did them again id do them up a hill then walk down. Probably safer and may burn a few more calories. I hate HIIT but didn't mind hill sprintsYa more of a fun thing I would like to try.
Short jogs and even just 10 second sprint followed by walking. I guess a form of hit cardio.
See how she goes![]()

Things one category that I’m not completely useless in! You can dm me any time for tips on breathing, cadence, form and how to transition from a brisk walk into a light jog. I feels really good to run a mile or two once in a whileI've been doing hour walks every morning at 5am. Love it

I'd say the advantage of going up the hill, you can go all out but it feels much easier on the knees. If I had to guess, going 100 all out up a hill is easier on them than doing a jog at 50% on flat ground if I had to guess.Ya true that. It would be like benching or squatting though. Only going at 70% not all out. Probably look like running![]()
Killer splits

I think it is due to the fact that your vascular system is better in absorbing food due to perfect circulation so it gives you perfect digestion and utilising food, also you have more oxygen delivered so cells are rejuvenated. It is only logical explanation i see for now.I used to hate it, now I love it, actually almost addicted to it (weights too). No idea why I went from hating it to loving it. Ever since I spent a year basically just trying to see how lean I could possibly get I feel like I have too much energy, I can't sit still, wake up want to move. I can't even watch 20 minutes of TV I have to move. Super odd because the last time years ago I really pushed BF and weight down I was super lethargic....like felt like death didn't want to move. Can't think of any variables that are different.
