Who loves cardio here?

I love it. It’s just the first 5 mins or so that suck lol. Once you’re hearts going it’s great, and I feel much better after.

My friend runs every day now.

He says that along with his general wellbeing his ability to get wood and the quality of that wood has improved significantly.
That is the biggest or rather i would say the hardest change I have noticed as well, probably play a huge role in why i love cardio so much 😉

Every day after weights 30-35 minutes on bike or treadmill.Plus play around with the dogs at the dog park for an hour five days.

NOT this guy 👈

Ya more of a fun thing I would like to try.
Short jogs and even just 10 second sprint followed by walking. I guess a form of hit cardio.

See how she goes 🤞

Of course you will be cautious.

I had a work peer state something similar to "Oh yeah, I bet you cannot run since you are 'muscly'".

I was like fuck you, signed up for a 5km race. Never having ran for years. Started running and 6 weeks later ran the race. I think I was 27mins for 5km. However my knees and ankles did not like this despite buying $300 running shoes fitted by a professional.

However, I did get to wear my 5km race shirt to work ;)

I love walking outside. One of the main reasons I want to get out of Arizona is that it's still 100 degrees here at 11pm during the summer.
I'm the same. As a kid I hated outside I wanted to stay inside watch movies play video games. Now that I'm an old man lol...love nature. Especially hiking in the woods. Sometimes I'll put on a training or diet podcast, sports, or just some country music lol. Energy drink + gh + bronkaid+ yohimbine+ 2 hours hiking in nature with no stress= pleasure. Definitely 100 heat would ruin the experience

I wear $50 converse 😅

Probably need to change that

But I'm sure you also didn't lose muscle though?
I have lost some on occasion but not much from over training or trying new types of training and still worked out.

“Oh, I love it and I hate it at the same time.” (Daylight - David Kushner.)

60 minutes prior to each weight workout which is typically comprised
of many different ‘exercises”. This is based upon boredom and availability
consisting of the seated stationary bike, treadmill, step mill and the
Concept II rowing (which is next to impossible to do now if I want to walk
after . . . low back, bone on bone).

By far my favorite is a spin bike in the spin class room. If I can get in between
classes here is what I do.

Take out the seat so you can’t sit down.

Raise the handle bars all the way up and out.

Turn off the lights.

Set the timer for 1 hour.

Climb on, strap yourself in.

Close your eyes and crank. And don’t open them until the alarm goes off.

You get to know yourself pretty well after 1 hour.

Then I lift for an hour.

Stretch for an hour.

Then I train somebody for an hour.

Then I go for a 1 to 2 hour hike in a local park (hilly).

Off days, 1 to 2 hour hike typically with longer ones intermittently.

This is the typical ideal. The only real variability is ‘off’ days. Some days
no walking.

Oh, if life weren’t so complicated.

I love it..... I miss it.... haven't been on a treadmill in weeks as my life has been turned upside down...

Damn bro hate to hear that hopefully things are looking up. I went through some tough stuff recently, just now getting through it. Every storm runs out of rain stay positive.

Ran 2 miles on the beach yesterday. Totally changed my mood. I dont love long distance swimming but it gets me ripped. A hard day lifting is like paddy cake compared to the real pain of 1000m plus of freestyle swimming.

Shit, I have to get to the pool. In my youth I was a competitive swimmer and could swim for every.

Fuck, I bet I would be dying after 100m now.

Try treading water fully clothed. Now that is a cardio workout. (Must have a spotter.)

I am currently reading a book by Arnold Schwarzenegger and he highly recommends a daily walk outside.
He even quotes a few world leaders that recommend same thing and/or did same thing
my wife loves outdoor walking
i do all my cardio on treadmill. air conditioning is nice. i work outside in Texas heat so aint doing cardio in it!
