The American public put these idiots in power. This will only stop when the public gets sick of seeing their tax dollars pissed away. IMO there are more pressing issues in this country than professional sports.

Don't these guys see other problems in their home states that need to be solved? Does everyone that wants a job have one? Are their schools the best that they can be? Is everyone getting affordable medical care? I think you get my point.

Sen McCain is loooking towards the primaries in 2008 and is trying to drum up support from the sheep.

McCain is a RINO

I am from Zona and McCain is like a Demi-God down here, because he served in Vietnam and got tortured for like 4 years. I have nothing but respect for the man, but he has some of the worst ideas imaginable, his immigration bill is basically amnesty for Mexican illegals, the likes of which we have plenty of here. That is whay California and Arizona have budget deficits in the billions of dollars, because we have to pay for the healthcare of Mexican nationals. The fact that they are wasting time on a small tiny percentage of the population is mindblowing. How about they actuall tighten up the border to stop the flow of the really problem drugs and quit worrying about harmless gear.

What the problem is that there seems to be 2 parties but there are many more. Everyone labels themselves for being from this party or that but once in they are for the party of themselves and their personal agenda. And its about raising support to stay where they are. The majority of average voters are the Baby Boomer generation, no disrespect to anyone here from that generation. But they are trying to win the vote of the people who think its a crime that this young guy used AAS to help him break the record of "my hero" who played back when. Its about getting to stay in Washington, not having to pay healthcare, getting kick backs, and having a golden parachute pension. IMO they only care about the voters when they need their vote.

IMO that is the problem. people tend to vote only Republican or only Democrat rather than actually listen to the candidates and vote for who seems to have the public interest in mind! we should vote for who we are for rather than just the same party over and over! i like being liberal and thinking "outside the book" a little bit!

I think these idiots are in power because no one else wants to do the job. Think about it, it is a shitty career, being a politician. People mock you and insult you on a daily basis, you really don't make much money, like Senators make 100,000 dollars a year, for all the crap they put up with. There are a small few that actually do the job for the good of the people, the rest of them are megalomaniacs that want power and want people to kneel at their feet. I think the best thing is to say "NO" to any new progressive ideas, no new taxes, no new social programs, no payments for countries overseas, no new laws impinging our freedom. We Arizonan's should call McCains office here in Phoenix and tell his secretaries he is crazy.
