I have a wife that supports me no matter what - I am lucky that way. She is the one that encourages me to get my blood work done regularly, go to the doctor if something is off, and is also the one who monitors my usage. I do that stuff anyway but she makes sure that I get it done.

I do realize though that a lot of other bodybuilders have to hide everything from their wives. Fortunately I don't have to deal with that.

I've never hidden my use from my girl and she always supported me but lately keeps questioning me why I spend so much money on extras as I am big enough.

Her problem though because I am happy this way!

i'm actually getting married in about a month. my girl is the coolest shit ever. i kept my gear usage from past g/f's but this one is genuinely as concerned about everything as i am. she seemingly asks all the right questions....she enjoys being educated about it and has told me repeatedly that until meeting me, she just thought anyone who used gear was a self-centered meathead who just wanted to fight everyone and raged out daily. now she's more educated and actually told me the other day that she wants to learn how to pin so she can do it for me......how's THAT for love??

there seems to be an over obsession with gear on this board, what does the original post say about gear and how the wife handles it? i don't see that and despite that the first response directs the whole thread toward the wifes reaction to her husbands steroid use...kinda strange?

If she`s your Wife then there should be No Problems. You see these days some Husbands are nothing more then a Meal Ticket to a life of excess.
If you got the right girl then you can live your life the way you want too.

yeah, i get what you're saying. i was just assuming that's what the OP meant, but guess not....

that being said, my fiancee doesn't have any issues (other than the typical wigging out every female does every now and then.....any ladies reading, don't kick my ass). we get along great and are actually willing to listen to each other and are very open-minded. she and i are a lot alike and i always thought "opposites attract"......guess not as much as i originally thought.

I've found this to be true! Nobody is perfect, even Obama. For us, it took and CONTINUES to take work on both parts!

Not to mention, SELFISHNESS being thrown out the window! GIVE, GIVE, AND GIVE, and then some is what we have discovered it takes!
