will tattoos hurt you in bodybulding

It doesn't seem to be hurting the bikini girls - looks like bigger boobs and more tats is the continuing trend w them.

agreed.. doesnt seem to hurt or help to women but for men I think it does take away from the physique, especially back.

Boy I wish I never got any. I think it takes away from my physique, big time. My tats are on my arms. I will be undergoing laser therapy later this year.

I have one on my right side delt. Before the tat a couple years ago, my right delt looked better than my left. Just bigger and more cut looking, with a better tricep. Now, my left shoulder looks better all around, the tie-in with the side delt and arm just pops more. I love my tat, but even my small side delt tattoo detracts from the look.
