Winstrol+anavar for wound healing?

Hola!

As I stated in my "appendix" post I have some bad wounds after my surgery.
The wounds have heal open because of my bad infection - which sucks, since it takes so much longer!

I have not done any gear in about a year now but I do have some Anavar (5mg) and Winstrol (50mg) laying around.

I´m not out for musclegains at this stage, but to fasten up the healing process would be nice. I know anavar have been used for this medically with good success. What do you guys think about 50 mg winstrol EOD with 10 mg Anavar ED? Would it help or do I need higher doses? I want to stay away from heavy androgens since they tend to regress wound healing more than anabolics do.

I think the saying about gear helping you heal is pretty much bogus. I know in a study they used deca in a burn unit and got some results, but they were minimal. I mean hell, when I cut myself on cycle, I never healed any faster than when off.

GH would be the best thing to speed along healing.

I did read some quite extensive post where they used 40mg Anavar aday with great results. Wounds that should take 6 months to heal was done in 1-2 months instead.

Studies are wierd though, one show you this and the other one that. Such high doses of anavar would be to expensive though. I´ll have to research this shit more.

When I had my abscess I was on 1 g test year round - and that def. staggered the healing. I read some study later on that high doses of test does just that so i´ll stay clear of that for awhile.

But is´nt woundhealing and re-building of lost muscle tissue really what low-toxic anabolics are used for these days medicinally anyway?

I have no source for GH at the moment so thats kinda out of the question unfortunatly.

Anavar

Anavar will help with wound healing as it has a fairly strong effect on fibre deposition in connective tissue. It is also very anabolic, and dramatically increases protein synthesis. If you could add GH, you'd get an even stronger effect in wound healing via connective tissue strengthening and addition of connective tissue fibres. Perhaps you could use something like Semorelin to elevate your own GH output.

I'm not sure if the Winstrol would be helpful here or not, but the anavar/GH combo would.

Go to PubMed and type in oxandrolone AND wound healing or oxandrolone AND connective tissue. Yuo could also try stanozole AND wound healing. Use the keyword search function, and see what some of the research says.
