Young guys on TRT?

Hey guys I just found out that I'll be going on TRT at 25yrs old. So i'm curious if there are any other guys under 30 who are also on TRT? If so what has been your expierence so far? What would you change? What would you reccomend? I've used the search button quite a bit but all of it seems to be linked to the "older" crowd. (no offense to the older guys)

I just really wanna be prepared when I go to chat with my endo about this and have as much info as possible. Thanks!

I was 24 when I went on TRT. I have a tumor on my pituitary which put my test levels around 116. Thankfully I had a good endo who gave me injectable test and not cream. My biggest advice would be to make sure you go back and get your blood work done regularly so that if your estrogen levels start to increase or your hemocrit levels are too high you can make the necessary adjustments. I would also make sure that what you are prescribed put you in the upper quarter of the test range for your age. If you don't feel well with where you are, tell him. Numbers that are on the scale in the normal range dont exactly mean that you will feel "perfect" which you need to relate to your endo. I started it at 24. I messed around with PH's at 18-19 and I think it damaged me b/c i was a very late bloomer and dont think I was fully developed yet and that caused much more harm. I did all the proper stuff your supposed to, ran hcg, clomid,nolvadex,etc... waited and waited and levels always were in range but in low end. Also dhea was very low. I just decided im gonna need it 20yrs so mine as well start now. So since then i've taken 150mg cyp/wk and 250iu's hcg 2x per week and 50mg dhea daily. Levels stay in range in high end, sometimes slightly a tad higher. I've noticed a world of diff. Not so much with sex drive and energy but body comp. I used to easily get fat and ever since hrt I actually have to eat like a pig to get fat. It keeps me much leaner and i've also put on a ton more muscle at a much faster rate then when my levels were low.

what do you take the DHEA for just curious...

B/c my levels were naturally low. I have actually noticed a huge diff from the DHEA in terms of fatloss and muscle building as well. Clearly not as impressive as the test but def helped. I say no need for it unless your levels are low but its wise to get tested b/c many with low T levels have low dhea as well.
