ZMA= violent dreams?

For me it helps me get a deeper sleep, or at least a more restfull one. Im sure it helps me get into REM sleep a lot better and thats the stage where your dreaming, so it makes sence.

haha it depends. For instance, one night I dreamt that my brother and I murdered this kid and threw him in the ocean. The 2 nights ago I dreamt that I finally banged out this girl who is real hot that I have known for some time. Then last night I had a dream that my dad bought me an H1 (hummer for those who dont know)...luckily, gas prices didnt come in the dream!

yes...very common. vivid dreams the subject matter can range greatly, but i stopped taking it for awhile during a particularly stressful period because it seemed if my mindset was negative then my dreams would be and some of them would practically scare you to death.

It's because of the vitamin B6. If you just take B6 before bed you'll get vivid dreams.

I've had vivid dreams but not really voilent per say.

I have the same type of vivid/extremely extremely wierd dreams when I up the dosages of glutamine before bed I take ZMA too but I have taken glutamine by it self and still had these dreams.... I don't think it causes strange dreams (even though glutamine can act as a neurotransmitter) I think its just the fact that you are having a deeper sleep and the dreams is a more constant state, less interupted by restlessness. Just my guess

sometimes i dream i have to fight off ninja's or aliens and i dont take ZMA. im staying the hell away from that stuff. hahaha

I have not used it, but I have a powerlifter friend of mine who uses it, he had a dream that a horse was spotting him on bench press telling him to bench more!

Question

Is the product you are taking stricly SNAC ZMA or is it a formula consisting of ZMA plus other ingredients to help promote sleep? Basically, does it contain any melatonin? Some companies add melatonin to their rest and recovery formulas and melatonin is notorious for disturbing, borderline sadistic dreams that will make you question your sanity when you wake up.

Yea, my sleeping supplements are ZMA, Melatonin, 5-HTP, and GABA. I take Adderall so I need plenty of stuff to hit the sack and get some serious deep sleep. Sometimes I throw in Lunesta, boy does that shit feel great.
