Who's the best? Old school and now? I'd love to hear the opinions...

These days I like Melvin Anthony. In days of old, nobody really stood out except maybe Bob Paris and Ed Corney.

Darrem Charles for sure! May not be top 5 Olympia pro, but he makes the bucks big time by using outstanding routines coupled with always being in shape at any contest he guest poses at.

It's been a while since I have been to muscle show, but
when I was regularly attending, for competitor posing,
I can't recall seeing a better poser than Ed Corney.

Having said that, the best poser I have seen would be
Russ Tetso, which is more "performance" rather than
competition, though in the physique department, he was
no slouch. I have seen him several times as a guest
poser. Outstanding presentation.

And not that your asking . . . probably the worst pro
poser I can recall seeing was Sergio Oliva. His physique
was mind boggling. But the disparity between his build
and his posing ability was huge, with his posing leaving
much to be desired.

No, I'm asking. Thanks for that. I'm training for my first show, and I'm trying to research the posing as much as I can. Any info on the topic is greatly appreciated!

I love watching Frank Zane pose. Makes himself seem about 40 pounds heavier.
