What type of blood work should I ask for?
ever since I eliminated diet soda, my digestion never felt better.
Stop eating grains, gluten is an allergen and I would bet to say that it's definitely irritating you. That would explain the bloated feeling and the tired feeling you get. Also you could try carb backloading. The fasting period will give your stomach a break throughout the day which will allow your stomach acids to reconcentrate allowing for better digestion. Also you could try drinking a warm glass of water half hour before your biggest meals with a half squeezed lemon. Don't drink liquids with your meals or within a half hour before or after your meals and make sure you're grinding your food into baby food when you chew shoot for 40 chews every bite of food. I have bad digestive issues and all of these things have helped me. Hope it helps
Could be allergic to some of the foods you are eating... a food allergy test would be good
- change carb sources to Amaranth, Millet, Wild Rice, or Quinoa... and don't use too much fat with carb meals perhaps.
- use high quality protein shakes/meat/foods... and switch up the meats daily.
- apple cider vinegar is good like Eric said
- enzymes and pro biotics, and do a cleans/fast( probably would do this first)
Sauerkraut is another good probiotic, and makes dry chicken and rice much more moist
