What's your Lisinopril dose and what's your bp with and without it?
basically, he is saying wear your damn cpap
research has shown that the leading cause of sleep apnea is believing that you don't have sleep apnea
I'm reading up on pycnogenol right now, and holy crap they claim a lot of benefits. Cardiovascular/joint/skin/hair/eyes, etc. Might have to get some! Do you notice benefits from taking it?
coq10
lisinopril
fish oil
seriously, this has been discussed quite a bit. check out Dante's thread
simple yet effective. So many people go waay overboard because it makes them feel good that they are buying and using things that might help them when most of it is just a waste. They people cite some poor studies to justify their claims and purchases. Im not against supplements i just want to see real data to support it.
My small personal list would be either ACEi/ARB, vit D, EPA, ASA 81mg. Keep BP in check both on cycle and off, dont use shit that gonna tank your HDL even temporarily, eat clean and do real cardio.
Lots of good supplements listed here. Pomegranate extract is the only one I've seen that is supposed to be able to remove arterial plaque. I'm on fish oil, vit K, vit D, Coq10, niacin, UDCA, NAC. Plus some more but I can't think of them all.
What are some of the best supplements for heart and artery health? And what doses would you recommend?
