Why am I getting injured?

Last topic I posted was on a slight pec tear. I'm still waiting to see a specialist. First time back in the gym today and hitting arms. 5th set in and doing DB skull crushers I feel the same popping/rope strand giving away feeling in my left tricep and I drop the weight. 55lb dumbbells, nothing outrageous. Tricep is tender but can't tell if it's serious or not. I don't see anything. I am now on 80mg Cyp and .5mg Anastrozole EOD. What is going on with my muscles? Am I not drinking enough?I've heard AI's can do this....? It's like I can't push myself without this happening.

Can't figure out how to edit original post.

When I first injured my chest I was on deca, test, dbol, adx, mast. I dropped that 3 weeks ago.

There's so many reasons, over worked, dehydrated, not recovering, bouncing the reps, or maybe it just happened.
I powerlifted for years and the only time I ever hurt my lower back was bending over to pick up a piece of paper. It was so bad that it took a trip to the ER, two doses of morphine, and a week of muscle relaxers.
It sucks but sometimes shit happens, all you can do is take steps to minimize the chance.

Bp meds do it to me and my friend.

Agree with this.

Low estrogen seems to be the culprit for me or the combination of low estrogen and high dht. Muscles come in dehydrated, fail to recover adequately, and become easy to over work.

You would have probably mentioned it, but thought I would ask. You hadn't happened to have spot injected in those spots? I had a couple of injuries at the spots I injected.

It's impossible to answer. It could be 101 things but no point going through many of them. We can't see how you trained that day plus even if your form was perfect sometimes injuries can just happen. So many things (form, warm ups, temperature, weight, hormones, diet, drugs you are using, dehydration etc) can increase the probability of getting injured so it's just a case of minimizing them all. Weight is irrelevant as I have injured my lower back badly picking up a piece of cardboard. Although 55lbs db's for skull crushers is definitely enough weight. I lift very heavy for tri-ceps and 55lbs db's are decent for good form skull crushers. It's pointless going over things in many ways because you can injure yourself warming up on your 1st set. Although you write it was your 5th set. Was this a working set? Had you moved up in weight slowly over the 5 sets? Was this the first set with 55lbs db's? How many reps can you get with that weight and how many were you on when you had to drop the weight? Was this your max weight set or would you have gone heavier? Have you had bloodwork recently? Why are you using arimidex on 80mg test c? Low estrogen can definitely increase the probability of injuries.

Sounds like low estrogen to me, I get the same issues when my estrogen is too low

But it could be plenty of things
How’s your nutrition?
Do you take a multivitamin? Calcium, vitamin a/b/c/d/e/k
Essential fatty acids (3/6/9)
MSM?

To answer some of the above questions...

I had not spot injected there. It's up high on my triceps and I've never pinned there. I definitely did not drink enough water yesterday until the evening so I can see dehydration being a big factor. It was my 2nd exercise and 2nd set in on skul crushers. I do about 8-12 with that and it was my 4th rep. Nutrition is decent. I take a multi but nothing else while I'm just on TRT. I have not gotten bloodwork recently. I doubt low estrogen is the factor just simply because I know how I feel when my E2 is high and anything less than .5mg Adx EOD I get gyno.

Does anyone know if something can causes fascia to get weak?

I actually misinformed you guys, sorry. I take 80mg TC twice a week. So I'm at 160mg a week.

You must be extremely sensitive if you need an AI on 160mg of Test. Have you used an antibiotic like Cipro lately or had any Cortisone injections? Like others have stated, all of this is wear and tear on our bodies. Your body is trying to tell you something. What is your bodyfat percentage? Electrolytes could be off if you're one of those guys who tries to be "ripped" year round or most of the year.

how old are you. the older u get, well, all previous injuries add up over time.
hell, i was drying off after a shower, rubbin the towel behind my back. heard what sounded like if u bit down on a peanut in my delt. knew right away i was fucked. cant use my arm much now there may be a tear in there. from doing nothing, basically. no insurance either.
anyway, injuries can pop up outa nowhere is what im saying.

Wow. Same thing happned to me man, mind you, I'm not a power lifter, but always squat, heavy back rows, no pain, 6 months bent down to get my sock, I didn't get up for for about 30min, and my back was facked for 2 weeks.

I think it has happened to a lot of us. I've ripped my upper back between my shoulder blades and traps by just having a hard sneeze. Messed up for a week. When I get up from bed in the morning is when I have the biggest risk.

Doing a good amount of stretching really helps to avoid this, no guarantee but I think it helps.

id check your blood sugars/cholesterol/estrogen

the times i got injured it was due to low estrogen, every time, low estrogen though can just be secondary to some other cause (low cholesterol, high blood sugars, vitamin/mineral deficiency/electrolyte etc.)

when my estrogen is low, i can hold the handles too close on a hammer chest press machine and my shoulder will be sore for a few days after like i sprained something, and it'll hurt pretty bad

did you feel weaker that day when you were lifting? that seems to happen as well when my estrogen is too low

There are many factors we will never know in regard to injuries.. but I can't stress this enough.. the triceps are in involved in numerous heavy chest and shoulder exercises .. the tendon and tricep in general is under alot of stress throughout the week. So take it from this old guy who has had his share of injuries.. there is no need to train the tricep with heavy loads.. same for biceps.. train them hard.. intense.. but use very controlled slow movements for higher reps.. now the injury can be caused by numerous things. But wear and tear is at the too of the list..

Damn all bad. I make Sure I am fully warm before lifting now after man injuries from not being warm and stretching.

The dreaded bad sneeze, lol. I had one of those and my rib went out of place, just out of alignment a little bit. My wife was able to pop it back. She is trained in physical adjustments, but has a hard time getting through the meat of my back sometimes.

I can almost guarantee one thing: the AI isn't helping your cause here. Why are taking it at that test dose? Surely you can't really need it?

I'm right there with you. Tore my pec tendon last month. It was nasty. Felt like my pec slid all the way down my arm. I also have strained the same area of my quad twice now in the last two months. I personally believe it's a lack of stretching and going heavy too early in your workouts. I recognize I'm always guilty of this. Not sure how long you've been lifting for, what progress and in how long you've made on your current protocol, but I know with me when I grow too quickly before my tendons and ligaments have time to catch up this always happens. As I typed this I decided I'm getting a sports/fascia massage tonight lol.
