2 weeks out from a show. Current weight is 232. Posted a few shots below. Regarding the next two weeks, I’m thinking of skipping the typical sodium load, then pulling of sodium right before the stage. Also considering carb front loading (mon tues possibly wed before the show) instead of a carb up right before. I’ve only used dyazide as a diuretic, but wondering what you guys thought of lasix instead. Anyways, any constructive feedback appreciated.

Personally , I'd keep doing exactly what you're doing right now steadily increase your water intake so that the last Wednesday Thursday and Friday you are getting 2-3 gallon a day.
Saturday morning when you wake up for breakfast have half a dozen eggs with a little extra salt and some pancakes and reduce you water to just where you would be getting maybe a gallon a day. Steady pose or at least flex to evaluate how you get a pump , if you feel like.its hard to get a pump drink more water.

So many guys fuck up their whole prep by trying to manipulate water , sodium and carbs the last few days and end up spilled over or flat.

You look great now , lean , full and hard.

Add some extra calories Saturday morning to fill up a bit more and get on stage.
 
I couldn't agree more with gunsmith just said. If you stepped on stage now, looking how you look (with the exception of the color lol), you would do quite well. Playing with stuff on show day can backfire quickly.
 
I've never competed so no advice to offer, just posting to say you look great!
 
Appreciate the feedback guys. I won’t get too fancy with manipulating shit in the last couple days. I always thought burger and fries night before was silly anyways, I’ll stick to Foods I’ve been eating since I know how I’ll react. I can fuck up my stomach the day after the show lol. Are you guys suggesting I don’t even use a diuretic like lasix?

I wouldn't use Lasix




if you're in solid shape, dyazide should be more than enough




I wouldn't pull any precontest 'woo woo' aka "got food poisoning from bad fish" - type stuff
 
Drinking more water is all the diuretic you need , adding in a diuretic will just cause you to lose water faster and it will pull it from the muscle more than sub-Q (more than hat 70% of out water retention is in the muscle) the more water you take from the muscle the flatter you will be , you will end up looking soft and small.!!

At the most id say take 1,000mg Vitamin-C with breakfast , lunch and dinner , it will help process water out and it's supposed to help suppress cortisol levels , higher cortisol levels will cause sub-Q water retention.

Unless you have done several test runs with a diuretic to know exactly how you will respond your chance of flattening out are high.

The morw water you drink the dryer you will get
