2x25 program ??

I am starting a new program of 2x25 inspired by some of the people here and was wondering how people that are doing this set it up. I think Lats said he uses 2 exercises per bodypart. Here is an example of what I did yesterday after warm up.
Incline db 2x25@35lbs,55lbs (Don't laugh at my weights)
Flat Bench 1x25@135,1x17@185 (To heavy)
Set of fly's slash stretching-10@35lbs
My first question is do you go to failure?
With chest is it necessary to do two sets for both exercises?
I am going to be doing a M-W-F split or chest-legs-back. I chose this split because It gives me the most flexibility for work and my family.
Any questions or comments welcomed.
 
only two sets per bodypart per week? seems kind of low volume, because of the lighter weight, you may want more volume, keep rest time down, like 1-1.5 minutes. some may disagree with me, but i don't believe going to faliure is necessary for growth. i personally like to stop with one or two reps left in me and do more sets, the overall load is more on the muscles than one or two high intensity sets.
 
Thanks for the reply. I searched some more yesterday and realized that I had two different programs mixed up. I think Lats does just two work set but at lower reps higher weight. I think now I am going to go for a 25-20-15 work set . I am still in the planning phase .
