70-80-90 bodybuilders

emeric 1 excersice per bodypart everyday ?

Sory i not understand , im not english 😇

Way back when I did a couple of years where I trained 2 times per day. The morning workout was a light workout and consisted of the body part I trained yesterday in the pm. My pm workout was my "real" workout. I generally did not take any days off. I was a blue collar worker and ate enough to fuel my body. One thing to take in consideration is conditioning. Your body will adapt to training 3x day if you make it.

Mike did not train the way he advised others to train. After he lost to Arnold in
Australia he pretty much 'went off the rails', lost all interest in bodybuilding
competition and tried to cash in on his name and his so called training principles.

And "lots of volume" is a relative term. By his own admission, he put on most of
his size training on very a modest, 4 day per week split training program, believe
he reached his peak condition by doing so.

I met Mike at Golds in Venice Beach and after that I had several phone conversations
with him (not paid consultations) so I am pretty sure of the details, but as always, I
stand corrected.
in the 90's when Mike came to Italy to hold seminars, several people who hosted him said that, after having done his seminar in the morning with HD, he returned to the gym at night to train at high volume

It's amazing hearing stuff like this. And with all the podcasts, interviews, and social media revealing what really goes on in bodybuilding one thing is clear: it is the biggest fucking lie there is. The Weiders' entire empire was built on deceit. The magazine's promoting health and well-being and the professional competitors being anything but.

True-dat.

With few exceptions, what most bodybuilders say and do is pure unadulterated bunk.
Mindless, senseless, copious dribble, and outright lies for what reason I haven't a clue.
Be very very careful when 'dealing' with bodybuilders. There are few so called training
videos what are truthful and worth watching but in general, I would avoid them like
the plague. Trust but verify I always say. And chose your sources wisely. You have
every everything to gain and everything to lose.

Sorry to be so negative but this has been my experience. Your mileage may vary.

Has anyone on here ever personally met one of the Weiders? Wondering what they were like. I also wonder if the brothers had kids and if they are in the business. The Weider name seems to be dead now.

Yes, I become very good friend with Joe, he was a very smart men. Ben Weider`s son Eric toke over the Weider Empire.

I don't like Patrick Bet-David, but he does ask good questions in his interviews. I watched all those Valuetainment bodybuilding interviews except for the one with Chad Nicholls and my favourite was with Wayne Demilia for two reasons:

Patrick barely gets a word in. Wayne is a monopolizer of conversation.

Wayne talks about some cool behind-the-scenes stuff. Right out of the gate he talks about Mohammed Benaziza's death and Mike Matarazzo's first brush with death at the '93 Arnold Classic. Eventually the conversation turns to the Weiders. It sounds like Ben was a kind of a dick and focused just on business and profits. He then referred to Joe as almost child-like with his love for bodybuilding. Apparently the famous photo of Joe doing a most-muscular is fake and Joe put his own head on Clancy Ross' body. I find that weird.

Also, when Patrick pronounces "Matarazzo," he does it in the most pretentious way possible where all of a sudden he develops an accent and rolls his r's.

Lee Priest said he's due for one of those interviews, but the pandemic delayed it. There's a whole shitstorm between him and Generation Iron right now.

This is not true "Joe doing a most-muscular is fake and Joe put his own head on Clancy Ross' body". Joe used Robby Robinson photo.

Robby did get some compensation, not much.

This 100% does not look like Robby.

I'm pretty sure that picture is a photoshop. Joe was never that big as far as I know.

Well . . .

He wasn't. As I said above, Wayne states in the interview that that photo in particular is Joe's head shopped onto Clancy Ross. The arms-crossed bust statue is of Robby as @alfresco confirmed.

I made a mistake. I watched them all back-to-back at the time and mixed it up. It wasn't Wayne, it was Dorian.

At 56 minutes.

Photo shopped maybe, but that is Joe`s body.
Then why is it the only one where he has size? I don't buy it at all sorry to say. Emeric you are well respected in these communities. Can you provide more information?
