I don't like Patrick Bet-David, but he does ask good questions in his interviews. I watched all those Valuetainment bodybuilding interviews except for the one with Chad Nicholls and my favourite was with Wayne Demilia for two reasons:
Patrick barely gets a word in. Wayne is a monopolizer of conversation.
Wayne talks about some cool behind-the-scenes stuff. Right out of the gate he talks about Mohammed Benaziza's death and Mike Matarazzo's first brush with death at the '93 Arnold Classic. Eventually the conversation turns to the Weiders. It sounds like Ben was a kind of a dick and focused just on business and profits. He then referred to Joe as almost child-like with his love for bodybuilding. Apparently the famous photo of Joe doing a most-muscular is fake and Joe put his own head on Clancy Ross' body. I find that weird.
Also, when Patrick pronounces "Matarazzo," he does it in the most pretentious way possible where all of a sudden he develops an accent and rolls his r's.
Lee Priest said he's due for one of those interviews, but the pandemic delayed it. There's a whole shitstorm between him and Generation Iron right now.
