He looks great for sure. Funny seeing the pictures of him smoking cigarettes, I wasn't expecting that. He looks healthy though nonetheless.

Man is it just me or does that triceps just not look right? Could be but scan down to his elbow. How can someone with that weak of an elbow set point, build a triceps like that??? It would freaking snap! Looks perhaps manipulated to me and this from an ole dog who is most supportive of the ole timers.

His triceps 100%, NOT photoshopped. Just the angle the pic was taken making it look extremely impressive, despite, indeed, such "weak" elbow setpoint.

Gunter Schlierkamp had exactly the same issue. He was invited to guest pose in a show I competed in back in 2006, and I had the opportunity to spend most of the after party chatting (and eating cake :p) with him... dude was off-season then and INSANELY MASSIVE ... but I mean the kind that truly makes you feel awfully small, no matter how good you think you are (and I had just won the SHW's in that contest lol ).

Well, the first, and I mean very first thing that caught my eyes when he got close enough to me was precisely this kind of "emptyness" around the elbow, exactly like this old German guy... at least 2 to 3 inches with "nothing" from the elbow to where both his triceps were starting... had never seen anything like this before... and not much later either!

Must be a German thing, who knows... :D Super nice guy btw. :)

Whatever the case, the guy is impressive for age 74, or any age. Looking at his other photos, he is doing things right!

The one thing I think guys need to work on who maintain the bodybuilder look into the later years, 60's and beyond is keeping up with the ole face. Stallone has done a great job with this, as has Arnold. Sure, they have aged, but they do all they can to keep their face on par with their body. Age it, sure, but don't let it go, while having a body most 20-30 years old would envy, it freaks women out! LOL. When I get to be 74, I plan to still have my body, and yes, I will cheat to keep my face up with it. I'll go under the knife, get botox, whatever. Right now, the GH seems to be reverse aging my face quite a bit, so at 50, I'm good.

He's on the Markus Ruhl plan.
