I make a lot of funny comments and critical comments, but I'm glad that you are always throwing this stuff out there.
There is some good stuff on that page.
But particularly, the NAD thing and the SIRT thing, all I have to say is those do merely pertain to lower organisms.
We have a hard time connecting the life functions of simple cells with the activities of cellular aggregations which are organized in various topologies. This same trend permeates our theories of evolution...no idea how cells formed aggregates. Those are the holes in the common scientific knowledge, and it says a lot about where we are.
There are as many good ideas about blocking the SIRT pathways as there are activating them.
All I can say is that even our simple stem cell technology can provide the same sort of simple-cell life extension, but they have a lot of trouble growing aggregations of cells into organs. Therefore, we could easily rely on stem cell technology and stem cell correction for this sort of thing, maintaining the life of simple cells.
But the greater concern is maintaining the body's greater organization of all these simple cells. Or else we are just doodling on the surface, the body-without-organs, as they say.
