To verify if you are insulin resistant you need to check:
Fasted glucose
Fasted insulin
Hba1c
Lipids(HDL LDL Triglycerides)
This should be enough to tell you a lot about your insulin sensitivity state.
You can suffer from dawn effect, which makes you have high glucose in the am, the after a couple of meals you will be fine....
Usually on an healthy guy Metformin fixes dawn effect, but still if you want to go more in depth about your state you need more bloods.
Worst case scenario is:
High lipids
High insulin fasted
High glucose fasted
It's 99% insulin resistance, you need to diet down and i would even add Metformin before bed.
I really doubt that HGH can screw you so bad at that dose.
