No, that's not DC.
The regular 2-split for DC is:
day 1) biceps, forearms, calves, hams, quad
day 2) rest
day 3) chest, shoulders, triceps, back width, back thickness.
day 4) rest
day 5) same as day 1, different exercises

weekend off.. then next week you start with the "day 3" workout, and you keep going like that. rotating it.

I suggest you go over to intensemuscle.com and read all the stickies there in the Dogg Pound.

yea i know the normal DC training split but dante also says it can be modified and i wanted to know if this would work also.

Tweaking the program is frowned upon for people that haven't even done it yet, guys that have spent years blasting and cruising have a little more liberty with it than someone who is a week into their first go at it.

Your split you train the hardest bodyparts in the same session(legs and back)... we split them up so that after one is done you can walk out of the gym spent. You would have to squat FIRST and then do the rest of your workout after doing arguably the hardest DC protocol(20 rep widows). You will really find that Dante's split is very good if you try it out, he's spent 15 some years now tweaking things and testing them with trainees to give you the version of DC you see today... it works and works well as is.

ok so if you were in my situation what would you do next??? should i workout wensday?? what do i do?

I would probably start it over correctly Saturday.

but then thats tue, wed, thur and fri off...

Your training days look like Saturday Monday Wednesday, that's why I'm suggesting Saturday.

If you were recovered enough to give a strong effort on Wednesday of some of the same body parts you just worked Monday have at it... I just think you'll still be pretty sore.

yea your right i guess i could start wensday and then go on the actual split dante lists.

either follow the program exactly or not at all!! quit making up your own program and then calling it DC

if your going to be wresteling im not sure dc training is the way to go. it might actually hinder your wrestling. i have a few friends who wrestled in highschool and college and theyre coaches always wanted them to stay as light and strong as possible depending on theyre weight class. like if your naturally a light heavyweight but at the lighter end of that weightclass wouldnt it be better to lose a few lbs and make it in at a huge middleweight? also if i were you id concentrate on powerlifting mover for reps with a ton of weight. clean an press, dead, squat...use all the lifts that involve most of your body like wresteling does...id love to hear tp4u chime in on this he's verry knowledgeable on this kind of thing.

hey listen joshbarnett calm the hell down!
Do you even know what DC is?
Listen here if you would read correctly i asked if i could do it like that.
Im not going to go in full description what DC training is for you but seriously dude calm down. you cant just base one routine into what DC is. its much more to what day you work your body parts that was just my 2 day split ive seen 4 day splits and so on and so on.

I said im going to start the ACTUAL 2 Day split DANTE made up so damn calm down.

yea im wrestling and what im doing on the DC training is the core movements like you said for my 3 exercises like for chest one workout will be db bench then next time decline bench and next db flys. and in dc it said that its suppose to gain strenght and size in the fastest amount of time "progession" and im dieting down and slappin in some cardio so i can loose some weight too. and when wrestling season comes ill modify my training routine.
Thanks Bro!

p.s. when you gonna start posting recipes again bro i miss them.

Josh was trained by Dante himself, he knows what DC is lol.

If you are trying to drop bodyfat and wrestle at the same time you start DC training you might run into some serious overtraining issues. My suggestion would be to hold off on DC training until it is the top priority(no other physical distractions) in your life. Dante refuses to train people who want to improve for their sport with DC, it's for bodybuilders only for a reason. Trying to start DC on a diet as well will be rough... people can diet on it but after they have done several blasts and know what it's like, you will need the protein/calories your first blast to recovery and grow.

You might want to read up on DC. No where does it say to manipulate the splits. There is a 2 way, and a 3 way. The exercises are laid out how they will be most effective. And DC doesen't recommend isolation exercises for chest. Drop the flys.
