I've been searching and searching and I can't find an answer to my question. Here's my schedule.....

I wake up at 5:45 M-F and shower and all that stuff, eat and I'm at the gym at 6:40, walk on the treadmill for 20 minutes on incline then lift from 7 to 8. Lately I've been just eating oatmeal preworkout and drinking gatorade/maltodextrin PWO then chicken and brown rice 20 minutes after that. I know this probably isn't the best pre/post workout combo. I'm 23, 5'10" 205, very lean except top 4 abs only slightly show. Goal is 215-220, fully leaned out. I'm not new to gear or to working out, just new to early morning workouts so I need help adjusting my diet. The rest of my days diet is good. If I were to cycle;) it would be 750mg test e/wk, 500mg eq/wk. Can someone help me with my meals/shakes from the time I wake up until around 9am? I have on hand: synthepure, maltodextrin, waxy maize, limeade lbas, choc lbas, and l glutamine that I can put in shakes. For meals i can get whatever (beef, chicken, rice, oats, etc) Thanks
 
oats and eggs immediately upon waking ... protein shake before you lift, waxy maize during/after workout ... another meal immediately after.
 
Good Q ,I too have been forced to lift after waking due to my hectic schedule ,I dont like it but I have to do what I have to do.I too was wondering about proper BREAKFAST/PREWORKOUT nutrition as I can only get one meal in before lifting.Any others experence on this would be great ,thanx
 
What i do...........

Wake up 30 minutes preworkout(gym is close). Take buzz saw preworkout drink. A 45gram protein shake mixed with 35 grams of carbs. 30-45 minutes later hit the gym. 1-1.5 hours of training. 15 minutes later 105 gram shake with 50 grams of carbs. Whole food meal as soon as hungry again. Ususally within 2-3 hours.
 
Before you train:

Something easy to digest and that will stay long enough in your system to provide sufficient energy during your workout.

Synthepure + maltodextrine suits your needs

While working out:

Sip on lba's

PWO:

Synthepure & waxy maize

A little later:

Solid meal made of complex carbs, lean protein source, good fats (mono-insaturated & omega 3's)

This way you should be fine. :)

u are doing cardio before you lift? this is not ideal for several reasons..

1) you are stealing your energy to lift while doing cardio
and
2) you have food in your stomach for energy to lift.. when you do cardio on a full stomach you are burning that instead of stored body fat...

Don't know yet. They are busy people. And i'm not a pest. We will see in the next couple of days what comes of it.

I walk on the treadmill soley to get my heart rate up a little and wake up before I lift. Its normally 10 to 15 minutes walking on incline until my workout partner arrives.

Thanks! What do you guys mix these proteins drinks with? (My synthepure hasn't arrived yet so I've never used it) Water? Gatorade? Juice?

water...no need to mix into anything else. if you needed the extra calories then maybe skim or soy milk.
