WARNING: Tren is a gateway drug leading to chronic masterbation and midget porn.
It is hypocritical NOT to classify AAS (perhaps even insulin and GH
usage) as recreational drug usage. It is and they (AAS) are both
metaphorically and technically classified as recreational drugs.
And people who use them with disregard (short or long term) for
their mental and physical health are truly addicts. They cycle on
and off them to ultimately change how they feel, just like an
alcoholic goes on, and falls off, the wagon.
And then you have the ones who are averse to taking doctor
prescribed medication for mental health all the while
voluntarily taking drugs that do in-fact effect brain chemistry.
Sorry peeps . . . you can’t have it both ways
Do what you want to and with your body . . . seriously, I could
care less. Just don’t say you don’t use recreational or
neuropsychiatric drugs because you do. (AAS usage is ranked in
the top 20 for dependence, physical harm, and social harm.)
I have been asked by women if I use steroids but never cocaine
Everything can be a gateway, especially if you tell your kids how bad drugs are and they experience them for themselves and realize they aren’t bad at all (pot for instance). At that point your creditability goes out the door
AAS are not psychoavtive, meaning they do not change brain funtion. Since they are not psychoactive they do not qualify or meet the standard definition of a recreational drug. And what the heck is a nueropsychiatric drug? Ur making up words here. You have no clue what your talking about. Getting off gear has not made you any less crazy JJ......LOL!
bro...those “abstracts” are so not relative to what Alfresco is stating. Do not try to muddy the water here. And to pull a website that sells psyc. meds with the title of “nueropsychiatric meds” is again misleading. I give u an “A” for effort though.

LK..i agree with u that aas users can be obsessive and at times abusers for sure. But what I'm referring to is alfresco stating that aas are recreational drugs. They are not. They are not classified as recreational becuz they are not psychoactive. Meaning they do not alter mood or brain chemistry solely for recreational purposes. alcohol, stimulants, depressants, psychedelics do. aas do not. Long term they may play a role in dopamine, norepinephrine, adrenal etc. But alfresco is stating that they are being used recreationally and aas do not meet the criteria as recreational drugs. Can't remember the last time I went to hang out with the bro's and I had a few cc's of test while attending a concert, bon fire etc. It's irresponsible to spread this type of label...that aas users are using recreational drugs. I'm honestly surprised that more bro's here are not offended by that statement, especially the bro's like myself who are responsible, safe, educated on aas, and utilize them for performance enhancement in a safe and responsible manner. Not all do, I know that, but I'm not going to sit here and let alfresco spread spew his rhetoric and false information about a lifestyle that is so close to my heart.what?????
since when dont aas alter brain chemistry??????
aas for sure have no psycadelic properties. lol
they do nor block neurotransmitters but they sure can play with them.
really you are gona sit here and say the test, estro etc have no effect on mood? lol
dopamine????
i have been super fucked since birth essentially, and if im honest even i have to wonder how much my drug use ( only speaking of aas in this case ) has impacted and or effected my behavior to a degree that it falls into the very serious catagory of mental illness.
if i am 100% honest with myself i have to take a very hard look at this and there is waaaaaay more then a casual corrolation. 100% i am not alone on this board in many of these issues.
aas user are by far the most obsessive drug users/abusers too. they also obsessively deny this to themselves and others. which is exactly the point alfresco is making. :lightbulb:
