Fat does not make you fat its actually good for you. obviously the right types of fats.

dont force feed yourself to reach an arbitrary number of calories

and x2 on the good fats, that one was hard for me to accept, because i had been conditioned to think of fats as bad

I'm going to go with:

-Food Scale.
-Tupperware
-Food preparation ahead of time.
-And, consistency.
-Don't give up after a bad meal or two, just get back on the horse and ride it out.

x2..... The scale didnt move at all for the last 6-7 weeks of my prep, but i kept getting leaner. Use the mirror more than the scale. Its not what you weigh, its what you look like.

I put my scale in the attic this morning
 
avoid extremes whether it be macro profiles or simply calories, be patient
 
carbohydrates arent necessary. scheduled "cheating" CAN be good. and patience is key.

For me this was the #1 thing that I ever learned from experience. I found myself learning this lesson over many years, and when I met Phil on here he really made me take it to heart. I did his diet and saw immediate results. He had me eating fruit too, which I had refused to eat because I was convinced it was bad for me because of being high on the GI with all of the sugars.
 
Too much clean food will make you fat if your body doesn't require these extra kcals.
 
Don't eat yellow snow.
 
Not low fat...go low sugar and time carbs properly...
Way back (Im old) Low fat was a big deal.
 
If something is advertised as "healthy" it usually is not lol..

im talkin about all the BS stuff that is put out like

"baked" lays that people buy im like wtf fatass lol

drink lots of water
timing of eating
