Well after my pacemaker & ICD surgery in February and settling back into training and making some real good progress.
I have another set back. I noticed a sharp piece coming from my abdomen. I shows a nurse who said it was my device and it was normal cause I'm thin. It still felt weird and was bothering me when sleeping or doing exercises against a pad and the incision line was still red, it was fading in color.
I showed the doctor and he was concerned. It is the device coming through. It does need to be fixed cause it could erode through the skin which you don't want to happen.
I met with the surgeon who wants to do it before his vacation so its gonne be done tomorrow. He said I am going to be in pain cuase he's gonna have to do some cutting and removing some scar tissue cause he has to bury this device in deeper. It is general anesthesia so intubation and catheter.
I only got to stay overnight. Hope everyone here keeps me in their thoughts. Another lay off for me.
Here's a photo from July 1.
Thanks to all of you for the motivation and support. I think when I come back I'm gonna be more active on this site I just sort of read it and never really respond.
