The recovery wasn’t too bad either. Wasn’t painful, but after the procedure and for a couple days after I remember feeling like someone poured sand in my eyes and just left it there.
Not painful just irritating
Uhm I don’t remember the metric they assigned to it, but bad enough that if I would drive in the evening or at night I’d see streaks of light from traffic lights and headlights of other cars.how bad was your astigmatism?
Never experienced this personally. An out of date rx could do this depending on how out of date it is—as our vision changes over time@Sectør @Fa Seeshus
did you guys experience any sort of distortion/disorientation issues before you got your procedure? sometimes low key feel like im walking in a bouncy house.. not really, but sort of.
my glasses are pretty far out of date.. don't really feel like dropping the cash for a new Rx if i can just get the surgery
don't really get this bizzarre loopy sensation when im not wearing my glasses, but then my vision is blurry lol
I looked into it a few years ago, but was told I was not a candidate.@Sectør @Fa Seeshus

I have Romeo 7 red dot and love it. Don’t get any problems with light refractionI was fairly myopic at -3 and -2.75 rx before the surgery. The astigmatism was really only an afterthought. Honestly never felt the need for glasses again until I got back into shooting and the rmr dots looked like comets, lol.
Oh, what they say about green dots or circles always being better for astigmatism to total cut and paste crap web science. I see the 6 moa red dot much better than all that green crap or different shapes. It has more to do with the glass quality that the fricken reticle (sorry, ranting).
did it 2 yrs ago and one of the best ideas ive ever had

Before the lasik my aimpoint micro looked like a small comet. Not horrible as astigmatism was minor. Better now for sure.
I never noticed much difference with eotech (circle and dot) and had limited experience with from memory a green trijicon. Maybe my astigmatism was too minor but I'm in your camp based on personal experience.
