I was wondering if anyone knew alot about MRI's. I got an MRI today for a torn pec and the readiologist said she could not discuss it with me, i had to talk about it with the doc. I got out of her that she did see an edema, but she said the pec looked fine..
I know nothing about MRI"s but iwas looking at them, and the "edema" she sees im guessing is all this white stuff that is inside my left lung, i see nothing wrong with my pec. I have been looking at the MRI and googling all day, and it looks like I have a "pulmonary edema". THe ones they took of my lungs look exactly like every google images pic for "pulmonary edema" or congestive heart failure.
However they are all X-rays. Im wondering will an MRI show fluid in the lungs also? THis is kind of fucked up I wasnt expecting all this from an mri.
