eating a small cup of yogurt is never satisfying to me..
so i started making my own yogurt and its pretty dammmm good, i must say. n very simple to make.
take any amount of milk, half gallon, gallon and boil to foam, turn off stove. let it cool down in room temp for an hour or so.
take any yogurt you got in fridge, let it sit out for 30mins and take couple spoonful n dump it in the warm milk n stir it around.
cover top, let it sit somewhere warm over night or about 12-16hrs. finished, give it a good stir to check consistency n put in fridge.
i eat it with fresh peaches, walnuts, granola, and raisins in a giant bowl. freakin parfait@home
best part about homemade yogurt is, it does not have that soury old stanky flavor.... just smooooooth.
on my next batch, iwill be throwing in a bag of dried powdered skim milk for extra protien. :headbang: maybe even some protein powder..
