Find a welder / fab shop in your area and show them what you want. They should be able to make one for you for $20-30 or so. Get a chain / rope at a hardware store and use your lifting belt.

I had bought one that fell apart after a year. I went to my highschool where they had a welding machine, and I got two peices of metal slabs (not sure what the correct word is for thick sheets of metal lol) one about 2feet long and 1 foot wide, and the other was 6 inchs long and 1 foot wide. Then I got two peices of rebar (with a 1" gap)for the middle running parallel to each other along with a sheet of metal between them to reinforce the two bars. I used two peices of rebar to try and limit the movement of the plates while I run. All together with my my old shop teacher we got this done in under an hour, and that was with about a 15 minutes of conversation we had between. The cost was 36.68 with the chain.

The shop teacher showed the football coach and he ended up selling him 12sleds for 65 a peice. I still haven't seen a dime from it lol.

Shit you can get a cheap one at walmart or true value if u still have a true value in your part of the country. Best thing to do is get on with a rope so u can be pulled behind a vehicle during a whiteout, either that or a snomobile those are fucking riot!

I think he is talking about a sled to pull for training but I could be mistaken.
