anyone recover from a tore pec

i tore my pec last year and didn't think it was that bad so i just left it alone thinking it would heal ok.well it healed with so much scar tissue 6 months ago i couldnt i sleep at night without my arm going numb.there are several knots the size of dimes all over my right pec but right in the incertion one the size of a golfball i go the a.r.t which helps alot and stretch often but this week i started to workout again.the strange thing is i'am stronger on press behind head,close grip bench, lying tri extention everything i can keep my pec out of.now today i did pecs the only thing that didn't hurt was incline press and they sucked i benched 135x10 to the mid chest as thats the only place it goes.now i've benched 435x5 before is this something that i might have to live with can you come back or will i just have to find some excersizes that i can do and stick with them.#2 will blood volume training help,any help i would apprectate.p.s. now i relize that after six months off i would lose strenght but my first delt workout i did 225x10 behind neck press and close gripped 315x10 so as you can see somethings going on thanks
 
i suffered a complete pec tear and tendon rupture. i had mine reattached. though i still have a big gap on the outter pec it is fully funtional and strong. with surgery and rehad i was done for almost 6 months. when i started back training i used hammer strength machines with no weight, thats how weak i was. you need to go see an orthopedic for sure.
 
A.R.T can help out a lot as i am currently havin this done for my pec as I pulled it last year and it seems to be flaring up badly again
 
sounds like u have a partial tear in the muscle. if so nothing u can do from what Ive been told. I also partial tore mine back in 98? flat benching 480lb it will never be the same. i did eventually get back to repping with 425 for reps on flat bench but it is SOO touchy I can feel it tear more from time to time if I push it. I need to stick to incline but still get tempted to to flat for the ego trip.

Mine is like u said a mass of lumps. I found getting ultra sound done breaks them up and the muscle feels better but after working chest again they come right back. Some times I go in and get ultra sound done after chest like 3 x a week but that get impractical.

thanks for everyones help,i go to a.r.t. a few times each week which seems to help alot.it just gets so tight that it pulls my shoulder forward which keeps tension on my rotators so i stretch alot.right now theres alot of pain and tightness in my incertion.i get scared because theses knots are what caused my quad to tear not very fun.
