6TH STREET, DOWNTOWN. NEAR THE UNIVERSITY. I AM SURE THERE IS MORE AS IT HAS BEEN A WHILE SINCE I WAS IN THE PARTY MODE.

4th street is a lil better if you want to be around more professional people, also West 6th has some really nice bars.

Just moved to Austin over the summer myself. Yeah, 2nd st and 4t st are good. 6th is college except for down by Lamar. J Black's is new and pulls in some good talent!

I workout at Pure Austin downtown. It's a decent scene, and there are a ton of women, just it seems so many do the outdoor thing. Back home, it's freezing balls now and they flock to the gym which I do miss.

my wife and i are planning on moving there very soon sometime this summer. Cheap housing great weather and what seems to be a health minded town. Right now in ia it is snowing and has snowed all day my wife has called twice today talking about how we need to move asap.

JBlack's is nice, around the burnet/183 area there is a place called Samurai Sam's, really cheap toyko steakhouse kinda place, if you go a couple times a week around lunch time, you will more than likely run across Lee Priest in there at some point.

Also. All you can eat crab legs at trulucks on mondays..... don't bring a girl and dont eat the bread. 50 bucks...mmm
