Back Thickness help

Back thickness

I gained major thickness in my back by adding wide grip chins (pull-ups) to my back routine. After getting good form I started doing them weighted and it really helped me out a lot. It's all trial and error though.

Yeah, I did the same thing, although my results were slightly different. I didn't really get much thicker, but my wings started to flare. When I want to increase my back width, I do 8 rep pull-up sets with as much weight as possible, with perfect form. When you can get bodyweight + 90 for 10 reps, I don't think you'll need to worry about your lat spread ever again. :cool:
 
Are you looking for thickness down the center of the back?

Well, what muscle's make up that area? the traps and the errectors......so, horizontal rowing, deadlifts, and hyper extensions. Problem solved.
