Big-A,

First, thanks for the heads-up about this board on one of your posts on Anabolex. This place is looking really promising.

Anyway, I just read you mentioning your use of anti-DHTs. Can I assume that means finasteride and topical spirolactone, or are there other things out there? How useful did you think their usage was for you personally?

I just use Proscar, one tab ED or EOD.

I have a full head of hair. Actually, my hairdersser freaks out about how quickly my hair grows ( I have to have it cut every 2 weeks max).
My prostate is in check too, although I am still just under 30.

one proscar is five propecias. Proscar is cheaper than propecia, I found it for $58.84/30 tabs/5mg. You can crush one tab and make the crumbs last 5 days, kinda a pain but each tab lasts almost a week, so 60 bucks for 30 weeks...pretty affordable.

combine that with minoxodil+retin a, Nitzoral, and biotin..anyone will turn into a hair-growing machine (if you haven't already lost it)....I hear it's next to impossible to get it back once it's gone.

Here's the proscar link, 30 tabs for $58.

Nitzoral 2% is also on this page, it's been proven to grow hair too. Minoxodil, cheapest I've found is at wal-mart. You can order retin-a off the site below too, 0.05%/20gr tube/$29.00. Just squeeze a dab into the minoxidil bottle and shake it up, use like normal. Studies have shown minoxidil works tons better w/ the retin-a.

Hey Big A can u make any sense of this, I'm not prone to MPB but I do lose a little hair from AS, until I started using propecia in my cycles. So now I can use a gram of test with propecia and regrow hair, yet if I use anything mild like EQ or winny my scalp gets very red and I start to get some fall out....WTF???? gram of Test no prob...cut the test in half and use a litle EQ serious problems.

I'd always heard that finasteride (Proscar or Propicia) will substantially cut your gains from AS. Apparently this isn't accurate. I don't usually do real heavy cycles as I'm an "old fart" (58). Been juicing off and on since 1986, and made some pretty good gains that I've kept. Got a little "male-pattern baldness" but use Saw Palmetto and 12% Minoxdil. From what you guys are saying maybe it would be OK to use finasteride also - or will it only not effect your growth too much when you are on a pretty heavy cycle?

Just a heads up badgirl, they may be on the FDA'S watch list, I just had 100 tramadol caps sent by them seized by the FDA! Can you believe it?! They told me in their letter that it was an 'unapproved drug' and therefore unsafe to import and consume basically. They should just be honest and admit they're protecting the interests of the large US pharmaceutical companies.

Question for Big A
Big A, do think that Proscar cuts in on your gains by blocking the DHT conversion. I've read that DHT is supposed to be highly anabolic. Also, how much has using it cut in on your sex drive, if at all? Thank you.
