i just wanted to make a thread on this guy, i know hes gone and all, but man, i was going through my PMs and he went out of his way to help me out a while ago, i dont know why but he gave me some solid advice, it wasnt some copy paste bullshit either, he truly helped me out when i had very little posts just to help me, noone else came near what he did.... truly a good man.... wish he was still around so i could thank him again.

RIP brother..

Trust me man, we all do. It brings a tear to my eye:(

He was one of the highest elite and most carrying people I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with.

Most all of us that have known him, thank him for all he did for us all. I can truly say that I will always miss Seamus in many ways...buddy, fellow bodybuilder, and a complete good soul. I will ALWAYS miss him.

bodybuilding related brother, lets leave it at that..............

RIP big fella

Well let's not leave it at that for a second, how is someone to check for signs of a blood clot somewhere in their body so they can possibly prevent it from another brother going down? Is there any warnings or does it just strike you and kill you?

I almost died from the same, but my clot was in a coronary artery and I had a very bad heart attack. Somehow I survived. All you can do really is watch your hematocrit/hemoglobin and make sure its not too high. My clot we think was due to a genetic disorder I had combined with my drug use. There are many factors that can lead to the clot, and there are no warning signs as far as how you feel. I was doing squats and felt fine and then the next minute I was almost puking when the heart attack started. See this thread of mine. Lots of stuff there.

I believe that Big Bapper had a pulmonary embolism, but im not sure.

Thanks Mal, actually the other night when I was catching up here and doing some reading, I heard about your sitution. I thought, they thought about Bald's Nazi's situation, then realized hey "It can happen to me". Called my Dr. last night and today went in and got blood and urine tests for full reading.

It's funny when I walked into the lab downstairs, all the Vampires in the room jumped at me "I want him I want him" they yelled. I said "wow am I that good looking" The Flumbodomist said "Yes, but your veins are even better looking" haha!

Maybe people could post links to threads of his or one's that he was active in that they found helpfull. This would be a good way for those that are not familiar with him to get an idea of the man. RIP

same here. he was genuine and loved helping people. when i first joined here, i remember posting a newb question and he pm'd me answers and set me in the right direction. the fact that he took the time to do that is what made me love this board. he truly cared about the members here and helping pm grow and be the best board on the net.

Every time I think of him I think of his daughter. Maybe because his little girl is just a little older than mine and I couldn't even think what it would be like to miss her growing up.

He was a great person to talk to and loved helping other's but that is what I think about.

He really was a great guy and treated each and every member on here with great respect. Respect was one of his tradmark characteristics. He is really missed.

That is disrespectful to BigBapper. Just do a search for what happened.

For the record, he had a leg injury, he was mistreated by the doctors and sent home, a blood clot formed and travelled to the heart.

I did not mean it to be disrespectful in any way, shape, or form. However, thanks for the answer.

Doctors supposedly sent him, his leg got worse thru infection, made the decision to amputate and it was all to late, if they had given the guy the antibiotics he had requested he'd more than likely still be here.

Hi everyone!

Yeh I see that there is alot off spectulation as to what happened Seamus so I just want to explain what the coroners post mortem report said,
Abscess of the right leg, Cardiomegaly and Coronary Artery Atheroma due to Sarcoidosis.

The coroners office explained to me that Seamus suffered a massive heart attack and that his tubes were blocked to his heart, this could either have being due to the fact that Seamus may have already have being suffering from a bad heart or Through long term steroid use , which I don't fully agree that this is the case, Anyhow there is going to be an inquest into Seamus' death in a few months time as there are a hell of alot of unanswered questions especially in regards to the treatment that Seamus was nt given in hospital, and to the medical professions approach to Seamus, I was with him all day the day that he died, thank God I was there to witness everything that happened so that I can take the case up against the hospital for their negligence..Seamus was due to be operated on three times that evening and it was put off each time, as he was to have his leg drained as the infection turned into an abscess..So in my opinion its too much of a coinsidence that Seamus suffered a heart attack whilst being in hospital and previously having no heart trouble, now taking into account that Seamus had his bloodwork done on a regular basis..Had they have had his leg drained, possibly Seamus could still be with us today..Godrest Seamus such a special man, Im going to do him justice and make him proud as I know too well the attitudes of the medical profession here towards bodybuilders is an absolute disgrace to say the least, they would sooner treat an alcoholic. Their lack of intelligence on the sport of bodybuilding is pathetic to say the least..But anyhow I just wanted to clear that up and make clear what actually happened to my beloved Seamus xx

Thank you for sharing that with us. That is a absolute disgrace to medicine. A patient is a patient is a patient. They each deserve the best care they can be given. If someone feels differently they don't deserve to practice IMO. Give em hell in court!!!

The docs in N.Ireland are useless, I've been to mine a few times and although my blood works is always normal the prick still tells me he won't prescribe medication as I'm on gear. I've had many an argument over this pointin out that I cud be doin the club scene, drunk, high and obese and he wud treat me then - and they wonder why people complaine.
Sorry for your loss Mrs Bapper, I say Seamus at NABBA and he was a good guy and still hard to believe what all has happened.
