Ronnie is a great champion. He took professional level bodybuilding to a different era.

where does it actually say about him retiring. i heard recently from someone that visited him he was taking a year of and then making a come back.

i think hees horrible at public events, ive met him twice and he seems so friggan miserable. evan at the olympia, took a pic, no smile just depressed. idk he doesnt do much for me.

I got that impression a few years back at the Arnold. Meanwhile talking with Cutler, made me feel like he was an old buddy or something. We joked around. Cutler is great in person. With Ron, he just seemed like he really didnt want to be there. Im sure Ron hasnt always been like that. Guess the many years of being in the spot light finally got old.

ummm... only at the biggest Bodybuilding event in History maybe?

hmmmm.. this thread isn't dead so I guess I'll fix the facts: Well, back in January he said he wasn't going to retire on several radio shows, and have no clue why people think that. He is taking a break and then is going to compete in lower shows not under the IFBB.
