Blk cloud over my head....

|--[\\\]>----------- Man, it's been about the shittiest 2-3 mths anyone could have in their entire lives! without going into too much detail, let me just say that i have had a blk cloud over my head that just wont leave. About 3 weeks ago, i got a baterial infection in my stomach which docs believe stem from bad sushi. I could eat but everything could come right out of me 2 min. later, they put me on the strongest anti-b and had me on a clear liquid diet for 1.5 weeks, the diet consistsed of ONLY: jello, popcicles(sp), H20 and sprite. I dropped about 18 lbs in 1.5 weeks. Then i got better and started eating and gained like 10 lbs back, but NOW...this week, i got a HUGE rush of sores in my mouth, inside, on the toungue, back of my throat, the doc says its from the baterial infection from b4, the anti-b's killed the bad bacteria, but also the good, so when i got a sore in my mouth, i had no immune system so it braught along its fucking friends with him and had a HUGE party at my expense....again, i have not eaten any solid foods for 5 days....today its a TON better, going to try and eat s'thing......anyone want to use me as target practice for shooting?!

At the risk of jinxing myself, I went though roughly the same thing the spring before last. I got a violent viral stomach infection that landed me in the hospital 3 times in the same week..the last time screaming like a maniac. Then I practically shattered my colloar bone lifting becouse of a serious calcium deficiancy I didnt know I had, then I got sick again. All in all I lost like 20 lbs, and couldnt bench for several months, but eventually I came back and am now feeling better than ever. I hope I dont die of the bubonic pleague tomorrow or something.

you don't hear about Italians getting that shit eating ravioli or meatballs, damn asians, just cook the fish before eating it!

It feels like the end of the world now, but it will get better. When I hurt my shoulder and couldn't train I was miserable, but eventually you'll be ok and living life la vida asian or something. Just cook your food for now on, or a tape worm hanging out of your ass is in the near future!

Nothing special, just a shit load of country fried steak, eggs, hashbrowns, and some banana cream pie! didn't see me get sick eating that shit....only till i moved down to this prissy state! LOL!

Exactly the reason why I do not eat sushi other than the thought of eating raw fish just disgusts me. I feel your pain bro, I have had a situation very similar to this except I got mine from eating subway ( no joke ). It was pretty bad I was like you I couldn't eat anything solid for about a week otherwise it would come out as soon as I ate it. I went to the doc and he gave me a shot and some antibiotics and that cleared it up. I drank ton an water and orange juice and that seemed to limit my loss of weight but I did lose some like you but luckily I rebounded pretty quick. Also it zapped my strength a little so I was pretty weak when I went back to the gym. ( I didn't lift for fear of shitting my pants in the middle of the gym. No joke it was that bad).

Point is bro, you will heal from this and move on. LIke MikeS said only up from here. Good luck buddy.

How did you narrow it down to the sushi? Did several people that ate at the same restaurant get sick too?

|--[\\\]>----------- Well i dont know FOR SURE, but one of the questions the doc asked me was "have you had sushi lately" i am sure it was that b/c it seems pretty common...raw fish can carry parasites VERY easily. and i DID have sushi about 2 days b4 the visit.

Really - isn't there a BIG difference between a parasite and a bacterial infection?!?!? I could see how a parasite MIGHT upset your digestive tract, but cause sores in your mouth?!?

Hearing ya mate. My health has been a worry the past 3 months too. Back to back stomach probs, digestion probs, all kinda fucked up and weird.
