This is a far out option but it works for me. However, as a disclaimer…I am younger (30yo) and can do cardio. Possibly better looking as well (just assuming) joking aside …

I had good success with using vasoblast by granite supplements. Vaso drive is amealpeptide which can help reduce blood pressure as it did for me. I started with two scoops a day generally full serving in the AM on training days I would wait to take the two scoops preworkout.

This brought my bp down on avg 14pts. Even during a blast cycle

I take metroplol it’s a beta blocker. My blood pressure only spikes when my anxiety or stress is high and it really helps keep me a bit more chilled out. But what medication you can take can depend on what’s causing your blood pressure to be high. I also take garlic and natural diuretics

I started here before Telmisartan. I had the dry cough side effect. Had to stop taking it. Too bad, cause it worked pretty well.
Yea I had a dry cough, mine wasn't to bad. I have bad allergies any way so I was kind of use to it.

You can't really go wrong with telmisartan or valsartan. Both are very similar in effect but when you weigh everything up (researched extensively) telmisartan is generally better. I take 80mg telmisartan daily.

RHR is quite high, doctor might want to put him on a beta blocker also.
