About a month back I went into the Doc to have a complete physical because I just turned 30 and wanted to get checked out...
I haven't been on a cycle in a couple of years. I have done three cycles in the last 8 years all being fairly mild.
When I got my blood test back a couple of things came back a high:
Liver Test (ALT) - 75
Glucose Fasting 104mg/dl
Muscle Enzyme (CK) 302u/l
I was shocked by my liver levels and looked on my calander. I had an engagement party and drank a too much on a Saturday, (blood test was monday).
I am normally not a big drinker, but after getting engaged I did drink more than normal due to parties and what not.
On my second test, two weeks after the first one, (not having anything to drink) I still have some high values:
Total iron binding capacity: 408ug/dl (normal is 236-404)
Albumin 5.0 (normal 3.3-4.7)
ALT 50 (normal >36)
Glucose 103 (normal 60-99)
I've done a search and see that working out may contribute to elevated liver enzymes...and I did have good workouts the day before each test...but would they raise it this much?
The glucose levels scare me as well...no history of diabetes in my family. I have not been doing enough cardio and will pick that up, but still worried why they are so high. I haven't been eating as healthy as I should but do not eat much sugar
Anyone give me some insight to how to get everything back to normal, and how bad this really is?
