Blue Blotch Like Bruises on Skin?

My Training partner has been getting blue blotch like bruises all over his shoulder and down his arms. The best way I can explain the appearance is a bruise. They have been getting worse, I told him he might want to get them checked out. Anyone have any idea what causes this? Seems to only happen towards the end of the workout when the muscle is really pumped.

weird! I get those on my back. It is not a bright bruise like a normal bruise just dark enough to see. They are all over my back. The only thing I can think of is that skin is stretching and blood vessels are busting. Now I am sure that is way off but it sounds good to me. I tell myself that for I don't worry about going to the doctor.

Sounds like this is more common with the use of Gear. I know this has been discussed here in the past, but I can't find the threads.

Yeah, I used to get those too. Sometimes I wonder if it had to do with having a high hematocrit. I know when I got off the gear that the blueish spots would go away after about 1 month or so.
