Bostin Loyd - Dead at 29 Years Old

Bodybuilders are misunderstood. Bostin was reckless and why? Guess we will not know. At the end of the day, he left a family behind at a young age. He lived life to the fullest and died doing what he loved while being honest about it. Commendable. RIP again and I always avoid speculating and discussing the cause because it’s respectful to allow at least a week or two so the family can cope without all the negativity. Prayers go out to the family
if it were u ur whole fam would say diff.... lost his life for what...........
edit: nothing commendable
im not soer

Maybe I am being selfish, but at 62, I like to live another 20 years, don't know if I will or not. Just wishful thinking. I just know at 29, my life was just beginning. Prayers for his family and RIP Bostin. 🙏
you not being selfish, im 56 and would like 20-25 more years, a lot of that has to do that i have a daughter that is 8 years old, the truth is life is a blink, hell sometimes i wonder where in the fuck did the last 25-30 years go, so if me and you do get another 20+ it will again be a blink.

For everyone saying he should have been on dialysis, you have no clue what you are talking about. Dialysis is HELL. At first it's easier but year after year you end up exactly like a dead man walking.

I was on Dialysis for 4 years and suicide by year 4 was going to happen.

I know few people including a young mother in her 30s with 2 young kids who chose not to go the dialysis route. What happens is you go into a coma and then you die.

Please do not judge his choices. You don't know what his private life was or what he was going through.

We all make our choices in life and whether you die from a sports bike accident or parachute accident etc... You die doing what you want to do.

Now some will say well what about his family? Living on dialysis would have been probably worse on his family and torture for him.

The only reason people go on dialysis is the hope that they might get a kidney very soon.
Life on dialysis is torture, and anyone Whis been on dialysis will tell you the same thing.

No matter how much you think you know about dialysis, you know NOTHING until you experience it.

May he rest in peace and I hope his family recovers from his passing.

You look like a cancer patient. You can't eat any food that has phosphorus, you can't eat much protein, you can't eat fruits or vegetables because too much potassium could kill you. For example you can only eat 10 grapes per day.

You can't drink more than 1 liter of fluids.
You become week, you lose all your muscles.
You cramp like a mother fucker when you're in the machine. Your blood pressure could suddenly plummet and pass out, they put 2 15gauge needles into your veins to filter your blood.

Your veins in your arms become huge like garden hoses where eventually you will have to get surgeries to fix them.

I had 13 surgeries in 4 years on my arms because of destroyed veins. I had a vein get so huge it looked like a balloon about to pop, and God help you if you puncture thst vein, death in 3 minutes.

Many many other issues. I would rather die than go in Hemodialysis again.

I'm trying to feel bad for him but I just feel bad for his wife and child. Not trying rag on the dude because hes gone, but he died because of his own selfish actions. He knew what he was doing was dangerous and didn't even think twice. I'll be praying for his family.

Trying to understand all this, because I had a son on it. He had a plastic tube called a catheter into his abdomen. I know there is two different ways for treatment. Just don't know why one is done over other. I know his treatment could have been done at home.

OMG I just watched Derek MPMDs video on Bostin Loyd's passing and he used it as an opportunity to promote TRT as a safer alternative to what Bostin did and reassure TRT patients that they are taking safe doses and won't end up like Bostin

I used to work for the Mayo Clinic and saw a lecture on ICU patients in renal failure by a world renown specialist on it and she said if the patients were fully informed on and asked about what they were getting into if you started them on permanent dialysis, most would choose simply to die. I guess it takes a lot out of you. But 29 is and age where you would definately choose to live longer regardless of how hard dialysis is on you.

when your kidneys off; it throws off everything. Especially your potassium. He probably passed away from hyperkalemia which caused an arrhythmia.

we coded so many dialysis patients due to it.

Rest In Peace Boston.. I liked his podcast with Leo even though I disagreed with everything they said. entertaining nevertheless
Yup that's usually how people with kidney failure die. It looks like a heart attack because it is a heart attack cause by too much potassium. And fluid overload doesn't help things either.

that's a rather crude and distorted interpretation of what Derek actually said
