any difference in nutrition between them and white eggs??? i can now get the brown eggs for $1 a dozen straight from the farm, but i have never tasted them or know if there is any difference...........thanks.

I dont think there is much a difference in protein and the color of the eggs blue, white, brown, speckled, it really is based upon how they are farmed and the type of chicken: White Leghorn, the Rhode Island Red, the New Hampshire, etc. as how they taste.

AS FOR TASTE ..... the brown egg has a VERY strong taste, almost like chicken itself IMO and a little too much for me. Just an odd flavor.

for a buck a dozen, you can't beat that! i'd be eating the hell out of them!!

Yea that is a great price but have you ever had, fresh farm raised eggs! YUCK!

I prefer fresh farm eggs, much richer in taste. That's all I eat.

Omega 3 eggs are higher in protein and taste allot better. You can have the whole egg and its good for you. Served with 5 strips of turkey beacon and 6 pan cakes with low fat spread. I am getting hungry.:D

one thing i have noticed.....these things are huge. they are almost twice the size of a extra-large store bought egg. so i am guessing almost twice the protein just based on size alone.

I rasie chickens..there is no difference from brown eggs to white eggs..Usually brown eggs are more expensive as the brown eggs comes from Rhode Island Red birds..These birds are larger then the ordinary white bird therefore costing more to feed them..This is why the price of brown eggs is slightly different from that of the white egg.

Never heard of Omega-3 eggs. Did a search and found 'em. How do they taste?

Real nice:)

I eat eggs straight from the bird, brown and fresh daily and there is no difference in taste. My guess is they have the same nutritional value, however as you've mentioned, they are huge as is the bird. Four whole eggs is a plate full of egg!

Thats a great deal for sure.

I eat the browns all the time, they taste great to me, never knew what the difference between color of egg shell before lol

I like the white eggs better, only b/c they are cheaper for me though..
The brown eggs always have a super thick shell it seems

well i just boiled a dozen. i will give my opinion on taste later. i have a whole fridge full so i hope there good.
